Deborah Skyrms opened Deborah Kent’s in 1980 with a simple idea: dress the women of Tampa in pieces chosen with care, from designers they would not find anywhere else in town.

Deborah’s background is in textiles, merchandising and design. Each season she and our buying team travel to New York and Paris, choosing every piece with a particular client in mind. The result is a considered mix of heritage houses, independent labels and new names worth knowing.
